The Monarch Center for Women’s Leadership Development Scholarship and Research Foundation

THE MONARCH CENTER is currently working with The McHenry County Community Foundation, a 501c3 organization, to establish a scholarship and research fund to advance women's leadership development and women's leadership research.

The purpose of the fund is support women:

·         Who are pursuing a graduate degree or post baccalaureate degree certificate in women’s leadership from a regionally accredited university

·         Who are pursuing a graduate degree in health information management from a CAHIIM accredited academic program

·         Who are conducting research concerning women’s leadership issues

The initial target  for the fund in the first two years is research related to women's leadership in health information management, health informatics, or other business professions.

THE MONARCH CENTER contributes 10% of its gross receipts to the Fund and other donors interested in the purpose of the fund are welcome. A selection committee of nationally recognized women leaders makes policy and selection decisions for the fund.
