THE MONARCH CENTER is currently working
with The McHenry County Community Foundation, a 501c3 organization, to establish a
scholarship and research fund to advance women's
leadership development and women's leadership research.
The purpose of the fund is support women:

Who
are pursuing a graduate degree or post baccalaureate
degree certificate in women’s leadership from a
regionally accredited university
·
Who
are pursuing a graduate degree in health information
management from a CAHIIM accredited academic program
·
Who
are conducting research concerning women’s leadership
issues
The
initial target for the fund in the first two
years is research related to women's leadership in health information
management, health informatics, or other business
professions.
THE
MONARCH CENTER contributes 10% of its gross receipts to
the Fund and other donors interested in the purpose of
the fund are welcome. A selection committee of
nationally recognized women leaders makes policy and
selection decisions for the fund.
